Big River Bible Camp

Big River, Saskatchewan

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Each of our Camp sessions offers many wholesome sports and recreational activities as well as biblical teaching from God's Word, the Bible.

Your children will be under capable supervision during the day and night. Every precaution is taken for the health and safety of each individual. All Camp staff are carefully selected and expected to attend a training seminar.

We strongly recommend that registration be sent in as soon as possible.

 

CAMP DATES - 2010

Staff Training

  • June 30-July 3

Teen Camp

  • July 4-9   (ages 13-17)

(Teens, remember to bring warm clothes, rain gear, and a warm sleeping bag.)

Junior Camps

  • Week #1 / July 11-16  (ages 8-12)

  • Week #2 / July 18-23  (ages 8-12)

  • Week #3 / July 25-30  (ages 8-12)

  • Week #4 / Aug. 1-6  (ages 8-12)

(One week of camp max. per child)

Discipleship Week

  • Aug. 8-13 (over age 16)

Camp Fees

  • Junior Camp:  $110

  • Teen Camp:    $125

  • Discipleship Week: Contact Camp for cost

(Camp fees include tuck shop and a t-shirt. Campers should not bring money to camp. Hoodies are available for $30, as well as other items that can be purchased at camp.)

Camper Arrival

Junior and Teen Camps begin Sunday evening with supper at 5:30 p.m. Campers may arrive at the Camp any time after 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Camper Departure

Parents and family are welcome to join us for the Closing Program on Friday, which begins at 11 a.m., and to stay for lunch immediately following. Junior and Teen Camps end with lunch at 12:00 noon on Friday.

Transportation

Parents or Band are responsible for transporting campers to and from camp. Come meet our staff, and help your child get moved into his/her cabin.

Packing for Camp...

  • Enough clothes for 5 days

  • Swimsuit (one-piece for girls)

  • Towel for swimming

  • Water shoes or old pair of runners for swimming

  • Bible, pen & notebook

  • Sleeping bag & pillow

  • Soap, comb, toothbrush, towel

  • Mosquito repellent & sunscreen

  • Extra pair of shoes

Please do not bring...

  • Tobacco products

  • Drugs

  • Alcohol

  • Comic books

  • Magazines

  • CD or MP3 players

  • Electronic devices

  • Lighters

  • Knives

 

Be prepared to enjoy the great outdoors!
